Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License
  • No felony convictions
  • Be able to pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews.

Hiring Process 

and Selection

  1. Start with filling out an interest card
  2. Once your application is received the hiring process with begin with a background check
  3. Once requirements have been full filled you will be invited for an interview
  4. Those applicants who show exemplary potential are selected to join Apex Security 
  5. Once applicant is hired, we will place the individual in a unit that will support their schedule and development

Training​


  • Policy and Procedure Development for Safety and Security
  • Level I, II, and III New Mexico Security Guard Certification
  • Get hands on training in defensive tactics
  • Less Than Lethal and Combative Training
  • Active Shooter Training for Business and Corporations
  • Handgun Beginners and Advanced Training
  • Long Gun Beginners and Advanced Training
